Our take
This OLED G8 model from Samsung offers the same stellar 4K 240Hz experience as the QD-OLED version but without quantum dots. Still, the OLED panel produces excellent blacks and motion clarity. The 0.03ms response is fantastic for competitive gaming. Brightness at 250 cd/m² is a downside for well-lit rooms. The smart features are a nice addition, but I rarely use them. Overall, it's a solid high-refresh-rate OLED gaming monitor, but the QD-OLED version may offer better color vibrancy for a similar price.
